1833 Agreement Between Israel Thorndike & Peter Craig for a Mule

Large tear on fold. The mule is the result of Craig's mare and Israel's jack. The mules was delivered to Great Farm, Oct. 23, 1833. Great Farm was developed by Israel Thorndike, considered the 50th wealthiest person in U.S. history. The farm was set on 1600 acres and had a mansion to Boston summer visitors and a large farm operation. The farm went to his son when Thorndike died in 1832. Tears on folds. Item #2486
