Measures 11 x 8 1/2. Piece missing from upper right-hand corner, and small tear on corner. Manjiro Yamaguchi was accused of murdering three member of the Kendall family on the ranch they were leasing. Some local residents did not believe he did it and suspected Mrs. Starbuck who owned the ranch and wanted the family evicted. She had gone to court and lost. Yamaguchi worked for her, and she claimed he confessed to her. He was never found, and the case goes unsolved. Item #2384
